Uidh - Bhatarsaigh

At Uidh on the Isle of Vatersay (Bhatarsaigh) the most westernly permanently inhabited place in the British Isles, this majestic example stands like a monolith overlooking Castle Bay and Barra as testimony to the declining population in the Outer Hebrides over the last 150 years.
