Lizard Point
Lizard Point is the southernmost tip of the Lizard Peninsula and of mainland England. The coast is broken into small bays, overlooked by two cliff lighthouses. Lizard Point is notable for Cornish heath and other plants similar to those found in southwest Europe.
The headland is formed largely of greenish serpentine rock. A dangerous reef, known as the Stags, stretches south off the headland.
